a) "ATTENDING DECM & DCM"
The DECM (District Executive Council Meeting) which is scheduled for 10am to 1pm on 16th Nov, is to be attended by District Officers of District 51 - namely the Area Governors, Division Governors, District Secretary, District Treasurer, DPRO, LGM, LGET , District Governor and special appointments of District 51 for the term 2012/2013.
The DCM (District Council Meeting) which is scheduled for 2pm to 5pm on 16th Nov, is to be attended by District Officers of District 51 - namely the Area Governors, Division Governors, District Secretary, District Treasurer, DPRO, LGM, LGET , District Governor and special appointments of District 51 for the term 2012/2013, and the Club Presidents & Vice Presidents. Should the Club Presidents or VPE unable to attend, they may send proxy and this will be checked by the Credentials Chair & his/her committees at the registration on 16th Nov.
Although attendance is not compulsory, quorum must be met for both DECM & DCM in order for motions and the DECM & DCM minutes to be passed. Of course, both meetings are an exercise of our rights as Toastmasters members of District 51.
Anyone else besides those listed above, may attend the meeting but only as observers. As such, they do not have voting rights when it comes to voice votes or casting of any voting ballots.
b) "ATTENDING SEMI ANNUAL CONVENTION 2012"
The Mandarin session & its Business meeting will begin at 10.30am on 16th Nov, and does not include lunch.
Everyone purchasing the full package of the Semi Annual Convention is able to attend the following without any additional charges, subject to them being run concurrently.

2) Gala Nite - 7.30 pm onwards, 16th November
3) Opening Ceremony & Keynote Address, 8 am 17th November

Students package of RM299, is applicable for those fitting the following criteria : Full time students in a learning institution, Toastmasters members of a College / University Toastmasters Club that is NOT under any full-time employment.(eg Students who have finished their studies & waiting for results / employment.)
Staff employed by the College/University of any College/University Toastmasters Clubs will be subjected to prevailing package price of RM399. Those who are employed but is attached to a College/University Toastmasters Club due to nature of studying part-time are subjected to prevailing price of RM399.
Special Winners Package of RM299 is open for Divisions to purchase this for their Division winners. Or the champions themselves can also purchase this on their own if not sponsored by their Division. Champions need NOT pay for the Contest, should they decide not to purchase the Winners Package.

Bulk Booking is only offered to those who register in a group of five people or more. The discount rate is at 5 per cent, per person (RM379 instead of RM399/person).
Bulk Booking payment is to be made together, which means we do not accept a partial payment, but only the full amount of the whole group.
